Impact Report
Phase One
Together with Dastan-e Mehraban Foundation, we have so far turned proceeds from the sale of The Self-Building Organization into support for these efforts:
September 2026
- Covered heart surgery costs for Mehrdad, age 10
- Covered heart surgery costs for Yasin, age 4
- Contributed to medication and chemotherapy costs for Bilal, age 5
- Provided school bags and stationery for children in underserved areas
- Contributed essential household items for families receiving support
- Helped provide wheelchairs and bicycles for children receiving support
- Helped provide tablets for children receiving support
- Contributed food and support packages
This work continues through book proceeds, and we will keep sharing updates with you.
Phase Two
With the support of people who purchased The Self-Building Organization and in collaboration with Dastan-e Mehraban Foundation, we have completed another phase of assistance. In this phase, proceeds from book sales contributed to the following:
October 2026
- Contributed food, hygiene supplies, medication, and school supplies for families and children in underserved areas, including Minab and Zahedan
- Provided a specialized stroller for a child with cerebral palsy
- Contributed to the cost of continued chemotherapy medication for Bilal, age 5
- Covered part of the cost of surgery to correct leg misalignment for Alireza, age 14
- Covered medical debt for a mother with esophageal cancer and twin children
- Contributed essential household items, food, and hygiene supplies for a family receiving support
These efforts continue the path begun with the support of book buyers. The Impact Report will be updated on the website with each new phase.
